The following PBC by-laws explain the membership process.
ARTICLE I
Section 3 - Election to Membership
Each applicant for membership shall apply on a form as approved by the Board of Directors and which shall provide that the applicant agrees to abide by the Articles of Incorporation, these By-Laws and the rules of the American Kennel Club.
- The application shall state the name and address of the applicant, and it shall carry the endorsement of two members.
- Accompanying the application the prospective member shall submit dues payment for the current year; NOTE: October through December, new applicant’s due received shall apply for the following fiscal year.
- All applications are to be filed with the Treasurer.
- Prospective Phoenix Bulldog Club members may apply at any meeting they attend.
- The application will be read at the next regular meeting that the applicant attends.
- The application will be read and voted on at the third meeting the applicant attends. Affirmative votes of 3/4 of the membership present and voting at that meeting shall be required to elect the applicant.
